Curator Nazerke Muratzhankyzy noted that in the era of information technology each of us faces a huge flow of information, and it is important to be able to separate the grain from the chaff. Students learned about common techniques used to create fakes and how to verify information with the help of special services. “We must be critical of everything we see on the Internet and not spread information whose authenticity is not confirmed,” Aybar emphasized. Following the event, the students decided to create a group in a social network where they will share useful materials on media literacy.
