On April 17, 2025 on Beibitshilik Island, one of the sights of Semey city, Abay region, another action ”Clean Thursday“ was organized within the framework of the environmental project ”Taza Kazakstan". Active participation in the event was taken by students of group PI-2401, studying on educational program 6B07109 - Food Engineering of Shakarim University.

Students of PI-2401 group contributed to the restoration of the natural landscape along the coast by cleaning the territory of the island from household waste and garbage. They collected garbage in bags with their own hands and delivered the collected waste to special places.

- Nature protection is the duty of every citizen. Today's action allowed us to feel responsible for the environment. It was also an example of teamwork, friendship and useful labor, - said a student of group PI-2401 Zheniskhan Diana.

It should be noted that “Clean Thursday” is an important initiative aimed at the formation of environmental awareness and civic engagement among young people. Such good deeds will continue in the future.
