Shakarim University in Semey held a traditional winter sports day ‘Spartakiada-2025’ among the teaching staff.

The purpose of the Spartakiade was to promote healthy lifestyles, strengthen friendship and co-operation among the teaching staff.

The event started on the 20th of January and lasted for a week. At the Spartakiade, more than one hundred participants from 10 teams competed in several sports, including togyzkumalak, football, archery, table tennis, tug-of-war and others.

The team from the Research School of Food Engineering showed high results. In particular, from togyzkumalak Shynarbek Aibek Bakytzhanovich took the 1st place. Football team took the 2nd place, and the tug-of-war team took the 3rd place.

The university management and colleagues congratulated the winners and wished them sports achievements.
