On November 29, within the rubric “Lectures of successful personalities at Shakarim University” was held a lecture on the theme “Path to science”, which was conducted by Dr. PhD, head of scientific project of Semey branch of LLP “Kazakh Research Institute of Processing and Food Industry” Zhanibek Yesimbekov. The participants of the event were students of the department “Technological Equipment” of the Research School of Food Engineering.

The lecture aroused great interest among the students. They actively asked questions concerning the choice of research topic, search for a supervisor and participation in grant projects. Mr. Zhanibek Yesimbekov shared his experience of scientific work, told about modern and promising research directions in the food industry, and answered all the questions of the audience in detail.

In his speech, the speaker noted that science is not only complex formulas and experiments, but also creativity, search for innovative solutions and constant development.

The meeting left a vivid impression on the students. One of the participants, student Ersultan, shared his impressions: “The lecture was very interesting and informative. I learned a lot about scientific activity and now I want to connect my life with research in the field of food engineering”.
