On October 1, 2024, an expanded meeting of the Academic Council was held at Shakarim University, dedicated to the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The solemn meeting was attended by veteran teachers, faculty and staff of the university.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Board – Rector Orynbekov Duman made a report in which he highly appreciated the work of teachers and staff, and also awarded them for their merits.

Among the awardees – Associate professor of the Department of Chemistry and Ecology Kasymova Zhanar  was awarded the badge "For contribution to the development of science". Nurgaliev Nurzhan, senior lecturer at the Department of Chemistry and Ecology, received the gratitude of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

These awards highlight the importance of the long-term work of our teachers, their achievements in the field of science, as well as their role as role models for young scientists and students.
