The first-year PhD-student Elemesova Gulnur synthesized a series of hydrogels based on acrylamide and sodium acrylate. Her topic of the doctoral dissertation is "Synthesis and properties of preformed particle gel (PPG) for optimizing oil well performance". Currently, the degree of swelling of hydrogels depending on temperature is being investigated.
