On April 28, 2023, “Science Day” was held at secondary school No. 10. Shakarim University took an active part in its implementation. The importance of the event was noted at the opening ceremony.

The Science Department organized a science exhibition. Teachers and students of the department of “Technical Physics and Thermal Power Engineering” held classroom hours dedicated to energy and its development in grades 9-11, interesting historical facts were presented, and issues of peaceful nuclear energy, renewable energy and heat supply systems of the city of Semey were separately covered. Books were donated to classroom libraries.
